I just wonder what those savvy "technocrats" have really accomplished.. besides tearing our city apart.

Our schools are among the worst in the region, and our gifted leadership hired a superintendent from Mississippi, a place where they are 50th in the rankings..

At the City Parks Dept...Amateur teams rent fields by paying on invoices that are not generated by an accounting system, but by a MS Word document and a hand calculator. The checks go to Parks.. not to the Main controller.

The Water department has been all over the news for at least 3 years.. Myself, I was on CBS because of my water bill along with several other City of Atlanta residents.

And if these technocrats did such a good job.. then why cant the Mayor's office make a full report to council on where the $140million dollars disappeared to?

And YES. we need a 3rd party audit. We should have one every year, like any publically traded company would have in the private sector.

We might even want to invite the FBI to do some forensic accounting..

City of Atlanta has no accountability, no means to report accurately where the money went.


Our city would be far better off if these technocrats DID LEAVE!

Mary Norwood is not perfect.

But.. she is a ethical, fair-minded, forward thinking straightshooter who does her very best to serve the citizens she represents. Nuff said.
