I have stayed at peachtree and pine shelter several times in the past, and it was not that great but it sure beat sleeping out in the cold. What could I expect?I had drank and drugged all of my money away and had no where to go.I have been struggling with this drug and alcohol problem most of my life,[I'm 46 years old],and I have a few questions for all you good fingerpointing people. Why are stores in high drug areas allowed to sell all the items needed to smoke crack cocaine? Why is beer sold in 22 oz. bottles, and liquor sold in half pint bottles, pints, and shots?I have never known a social drinker to buy alcohol in these quantities.Lets face it society, this is everyones problem. There are areas in Atlanta where drug dealing, prostitution, and all kinds of B.S. are tolerated.Alcoholics and drug addicts are very sick people, and I think most of you really wish we would all just go away. You sure dont seem to mind selling us poison though.Oh,excuse me,I forgot,it was our choice to live like this.
I sent a comment earlier,it was not accepted.
