Did this actually happen? I read about it over a month ago on the Neubauten FB page (I think) and completely forgot about it.... until today.
I went last Wednesday (1/6) to So Ba and had the Bun Bo Hue, before reading anything about it. The waiter gave me a word of caution that it contained Pork knuckle and blood aspic. I figured, why not? And found it to be quite tasty! We also got the grilled pork spring rolls and I found the pork quite good. My girl friend had a chicken pho dish that had a good flavor. We were both very happy with So Ba and very pleased to have something in the neighborhood other than tacos and burgers. The guy sitting next to us said he had spent time traveling in Vietnam and it was just how he remembered the food. Perhaps there is more "authentic" out there but its very good and much closer than driving out to Buford Highway!
