I had the same burrito as you, and i thought the meat was good, but the rice and beans were tasteless and were wayh too abundant.. the green pprs did little to add to the flavor. ill give bell another chance and ask for a light hand with the beans/rice. ps....i lived in SF 13 years and have had my share of 'mission' burritos.
I was told a few years ago about Rhodes cheese straws. Finally tried some and had a nice crunch, but not a lot of cheese flavor. To top it off, margarine was listed among the ingredients. any self-respecting southerner KNOWS that cheese straws are made with BUTTER!!! bummer....
Cliff: ive enjoyed your take on the Atl dining scene since i moved back here from SF. always appreciate your honesty. you have turned me on to lots of fun places on buford hwy. good luck.....
was disappointed on my first visit to grindhouse (around 230 on thursday). the grindhouse style burger frankly left a bad taste in my mouth (maybe the pickles? or the grindhouse sauce, whatever that is). and the fries!!! what a mess. obviously frozen fries, but they could at least have been HOT.
I quit going to Atl Fish Mkt cause u couldnt hear urself think, much less enjoy a conversation with your dining partner.
The Fulton County inspection report is outdated. looks like the latest report is in '08.
