This is about setting a precedent regarding the sanctity historic preservation in Atlanta, something that has too often been neglected. Also, the idea that a pet project in one neighborhood could have an effect on historic preservation across the STATE is out of control. That they could get away with this is stunning, because it's so bald in its motives.
Also, I'm pretty sure that none of those sponsoring this bill are even from the district ... the local government here has denied Buckler's requests repeatedly. it's just cronyism at its worst
Thanks Wesley!
thanks wesley!
Good catch ... no idea!
Haha Sparkle you make a good point. And thanks for the info, Tammy! I may head over there later and see what I see ...
Ira you have taught me something there, you could be right!
Re: “ATLwood: Don Draper dines in Midtown”
BTW, also wanted to say that this is my final ATLwood -- I'm handing over the reins so I can focus just on my TV writing. Thanks for all of the tidbits and support over the last two years!
