Great bahn-mi. And the warm tofu custard with ginger syrup is amazingly good. And it's all at a great price.
Take out only.
On our way to a holiday dinner with the relatives, we ended up in stop and go traffic on I-75. We figured that it was a wreck, but instead, we saw a couple pulled over on the side of of highway, between two fairly closely spaced exits. They were having a full-blown domestic disturbance on the side of the road. We spent the rest of drive trying to think of the circumstances that would be so bad that you couldn't even wait until the next exit so you could have it out in the Waffle House parking lot.
Nan Thai was very good the last time I was there (which has been a while). My only objection is the large, golden tamarind pod. It just looks like a large, gilded colon. And I'm not talking about punctuation.
Good food, though.
