Re: “Atlanta Bee Factory wildflower honey

I am the founder of Atlanta Bee Factory and all of the honey we sell in Atlanta is local to the area. We manage hives in the Gainesville area and north Georgia mountains. Our Florida hives will be moved back to Georgia and land on the Chattahoochee later this month.

Interstate beekeeping has been going on since the days of the Ford Model T without any harm. The trip is harder on me than the bees who seem to get right back to work upon arrival. If you want to understand the current decline of the honey bee check out the University of Georgia's School of Entomology website at They are leading a nationwide study to try to find out what is causing the honey bee and pollinator decline.
