So, absent Atlanta, the suburbs would've just sprung up organically, as some sort of adjoined city-state? Right.
"The only reason Atlanta is the size it is today, is because Delta, a private business, choose ATL over Birmingham for their HUB."
Which is an interesting point. Atlanta had the foresight to see that this business would be a boon to the city, while Birmingham scoffed and thought southern industrialism would dominate forever. Fast-forward to now, when Cobb keeps believing that turning its nose up at viable public transit and infrastructure development is good long-term policy. We can just keep paving more roads, right? More lanes, right?
That's right, kids! The only people who should go to Barves games are Cletus Q. Hayseed and Thurston Mallard III along with little Madysynn and Maesyn.
Actual Atlantans? We can go screw.
Tourists who are staying in town? They can go screw.
Kobb Kounty never changes.
"Why haven't we heard a peep from Cobb County Commissioners, or the Cobb County Tea Party for that matter?"
Because big government tax and spend is good if it is in the service of luxury boxes. Duh.
Literally the opposite of true.
Hahahaha Tom Sowell hahahahaha. Right. Couldn't find a Jonah Goldberg column to link to?
Budget reductions? I thought this was about ObamaCare.
It's almost as if the Republican Party is led by a bunch of flailing yahoos who have no agenda other than NUH UH.
Voters from Deliverance County are too ridiculous to debate.
