I'm not sure if that came out right.
Won't somebody PLEASE think of the children?!?!?!! Seriously, there is an American right to be stupid with one's own body. It is a sacred right passed down through the ages ever since Benjamin Franklin caught his first case of the syph from a French whore and Thomas Jefferson impregnated his first slave.
Frankly, having lived in Macon, it can fall off the end of the earth for all I care.
Mr. Combs: Frankly, please get off your high horse and your head out of your ass.
Every now and then, poking a little fun at one's self is needed. Do you think I would get upset at the bear stereotype? No. This was not done in a harmful way. There is a difference between being light hearted and funny and being hateful, and CL did not cross that line.
I do not discount the feelings of the author of the article; CL should have been clearer in their intentions and she could have chosen not to participate had she known this.
But all of this "we need to be serious" bullshit is exactly that: bullshit. When CL starts pushing the chester molester crap, THAT'S when it's time to be angry.
OMG the gays are going to let al-Qaida WIN!!!!
OMG you guys are COMMUNISTS and SOSHULISTS!!!! And on and on and on.
Mmmmmmm... Nu-Way.... garghlllll.... one of the few redeeming things about Macon. Graduated from HS there and left three weeks thereafter for college, and never came back to live. Never regretted it.
