Zimmerman assumed Martin was up to no good..'they always get away'. What did he see or hear to validate that. what was on Martins mind when he was confronted..I am from the South and believe me the assumption of 'you're up to no good' isn't new.Zimmerman decided to stop one person from vandalism by following him. Martin felt threatened and stereotyped. Unless you can experience these emotions you can never understand the shock of the trial and verdict.
