I really love this article. You're really getting at the heart of what it means to be someone who loves to eat out, but who also likes to save money in the process.
Especially when there are so many ways to save money on eating out (e.g. ScoutMob, Groupon, Half Off Depot, and various Check-In specials) it becomes hard to eat at a restaurant that is overpriced AND doesn't have any discounts.
I haven't stopped eating out so much, but whenever I do, I always look for deals to places I may or may not normally try. I always ask myself at the end of the meal if it was really worth the cost. For example, was this $36 steak really three times as good as that amazing $12 burger I had?
They spent all their money on the CraigsList logo so they can't afford a decent web designer.
Took my girlfriend up here for a surprise private wine tasting and lunch. Amazing experience.
The drive isn't too bad. Took my 80 minutes from midtown. Even less if you're coming from Buckhead or points north.
You can even hit the outlets on the way up or back. On the way back you'll spend way more on account of the wine!
