Ok, so I'm biased. But I've seen the rehearsals and this is going to be a GREAT show.

Yes, 688 Club will be an entertainment venue/club, and coupled with the variety of events at Spring4th Center+Annex, it is a full block of entertainment options.
After a phase in period, we expect 688 Club to be open 5-6 evenings a week with a wide range of music and other entertainment. We'll also be offering food and will be officially licensed as a "restaurant."
We've got two live music shows in the works for Fri Nov 5 and Fri Nov 12, so keep an eye on our calendar at spring4th.com or 688club.com. Fri Nov 12 actually has performances in all 3 spaces of the Spring4th Complex - Wammo, formerly of Asylum Street Spankers, in a spoken word performance in Spring4th Center, David Rovics in a concert sponsored by the Green Party is in our Annex location, and a live band line up including the Swimming Pool Qs at 688 Club.
Spring4th Center continues to operate as a "convention center", available for rental for a wide variety of public and private events.
Actually, the "new" 688 Club is not "Spring4th Center", it is part of the newly named entertainment district Spring4th COMPLEX, which includes Spring4th Center+Annex and the 18,000 square feet 688 Club. The new 688 Club is located at 714 Spring Street just across the street from the original 688 Club. [Spring4th Center, a 5,500 sf venue, is located on the same block at 728 Spring Street.]
The whole BLOCK will be hoppin' with a full Halloween weekend, with the finale being the Three 6 Mafia show.
