Re: “Reactions to the Judies singer Ullom's 20-year prison sentence

Some people really are gullible. I offer the case of Terry Williams, not in a band, not a drug dealer, not an "artist" or my "friend" , but nevertheless a human being, sorely missed, who was shot dead in L5P 3 years ago, by Cori Williams, an attempted hold-up thief. Mr. Cori Williams was sentenced to 20 years, just like Mr. Ullom, the "wanna-be rock-star" with "abberant, socio-pathic behavior." Unlike Mr. Ullom, Mr. Cori Williams was given 14 years to serve, despite the fact that he deliberately shot another human being with intention to harm. Warren, meanwhile, made bad decisions in a terrible situation. I assume everyone who's mentioning cocaine as the cause of death work in the coroner's office. They seem so knowledgeable. I'd like those that denigrate Warren's friends to recognize that he spent 18 months completely free from the influence of drugs and entirely under the influence of his close friends. I would never dream of taking credit for the extreme strength of character required to come to terms with one's past mistakes and leave opiate abuse entirely behind, as Warren did, but I'd like to think his friends made this easier. I'm honored to have known he and his family, and I hope that future internet commenters might keep them in mind before they opine on matters of which they have only rudimentary knowledge.
