I played for a little Tallahassee band called the Shatterposts who opened up for Deacon Lunchbox/Jody Grind back in 1990. I will never, ever forget that show; one of the best I've ever seen. "Mood Indigo", "Spiderman", "Behind the Eight Ball", "One Man's Trash..." -- I was absolutely hypnotized. Beyond the human tragedy of this, I can't help but think of the amazing music that could have been. They were ahead of their time, and, 20 years later, I'm still trying to play guitar like Bill Taft.
