If this is a 1 billion dollar project (estimated), where is the other $700 million supposed to come from?
NPU-W is no joke... preach it indeed!
You know what "would be nice"?
If Deal and our state congress governed more and stopped acting like three year old kids trying to pull one over on the public.
We saw that you put the broccoli down your shirt instead of eating it... you're right in front of us and we have eyes.
(No offense to three year old kids.)
Some good moves for this area and firms such as Smith Dalia Architects would come up with some great visions for the site.
What I'm concerned about is that the banks could have these people arrested for simple trespassing.
I would think that the banks would be better off letting families move into these houses and make them homes instead of leaving them sitting derelict. In an ideal fairy tale world the bank could let them live in these houses for a year without payments (the residents would only be responsible for utilities) and if they have maintained the property and they are in a stable financial situation at the end of that year, let them rent the property thereafter. The neighborhood would rebound more quickly and property value probably would too.
Yeah, so that is my fairy tale.

Hey, the year 2216 is not never... patience, Thomas... patience.
