Re: “Proposed MARTA budget adds service, tech upgrades

They need to extend the green line from Bankhead to Indian Creek...and then run it on weekends!

A Chili's and an Olive Garden is just what we need!

Re: “Reed defends Atlanta's snowstorm response everywhere and to anyone that will let him

While I think somethings in the Mayor's office could have been handled differently, he is right about how much of this is out of his jurisdiction. Why haven't we been hearing more from suburban mayors (Sandy Springs, Lawrenceville, etc), as well as GDOT?? And Mika's interview this morning was completely, utterly disrespectful. Far from a fine example of "journalism".

Re: “Thousands of motorists, students stranded overnight in Atlanta due to unthinkable gridlock from winter storm (Update)

Okay, while I agree that Kasim Reed definitely could have handled somethings differently, why are we not hearing from GDOT, and officials from suburban counties (Douglas, Clayton, etc)??? This mess transcended City of Atlanta limits.

Re: “First Slice 11/12/13: Transit agencies left in the dark with new Braves stadium location

This was thought out soooooo well. By all means, continue to provide Marta with low rider numbers by taking the Turner Field goers away. Now the train wreck (pun intended) that is marta is going to be hurting even more. So wise to put an unnecessary stadium in a place with absolutely no Marta access. Genius. I'll stick to my ITP bubble

Re: “Atlanta Braves moving to Cobb County

A big F-you to Intown residents like myself, and those who live in the non-Cobb suburbs. Suburban sellouts....see if this actually helps us win a World Series. Good luck with the worsening traffic

Re: “Deal's proposed HOPE overhaul includes cuts to awards, no funding for books or fees

I would still just like to point out-90% tuition is still a great buy. I have friends who live in other states and go to public institutions there (eg California) and they're still out $20,000+ a year after housing/student fees/tuition and what not.
