I didn't like the show nearly as much as Curt did -- I thought King's script was pretty much an unsalvageable mess, actually -- but this is far and away the most thoughtful review of this controversial production that I have seen. Thanks, Mr. Holman.
Oh, dear God, I hope this reviewer got a hefty check from Dante's. It's a relief that even so, it was duly noted that the food is pretty awful, and would be considered so at half the ridiculously steep price charged here.
Maybe Dante's should initiate a somewhat lower-priced "bring your own grub" option, where you could bring better food -- say, from a Krystal nearby -- and just enjoy the atmosphere.
I look forward to the glowing review of Pittypat's Porch next week.
