Remember, there's also an Alon's up at Perimeter, for those OTP jaunts...
Great article... Interesting comments too. I hope that I would drink water before PBR, but luckily, I'm not in a position to have to find out. I think that any discussion of the price question should include a mention of the impact on price of the type of container(and quality of course)...eg.
30pk of Coors Light cans = $19.49, or 5.41 cents/oz .
6pk of Terrapin Rye = $8.99, or 12.49 cents/oz.
64oz Growler refill of New Belg. Tart Lychee = $10.99, or 17.17 cents/oz.
22 oz Bomber of Lagunitas Hop Stoopid = $4.49, or 20.4 cents/oz.
750 ml (25.3 oz) Bomber of Jolly Pumpkin - Maracaibo Esp. at $13.99, or 55.2 cents/oz.
It's funny, my budds and I and many beer writers talk about how "affordably priced" Hop Stoopid is, but if they put it in 6pks like they do Red and Sumpthin **2 and priced it similarly, it would be cheaper than a growler of similar quality beer...Oh well, perhaps after they go on line in Brevard and don't have the shipping expense...
Re: “Uncertain future for Bell Street Burritos on Howell Mill”
Matt, come back home to the original Burritos location on Ponce...I'm sure a deal could be made with the current occupants... :)
