I would definitely not say that about al Italian places in Atlanta. La Tavola in V-H is about as great as they come and that type of place would be perfect there. Juniper could use a Fifth Group restaurant. As far as Luda and the Mayor and the airport all I can do is roll my eyes.
Couldn't have said it better myself, though Sous Whisky (no "e") Marin isn't a bar, it's an art space, there will be a pop-up candy shop involved for the night I believe.
Castleberry Hill will be happy to have them!
I agree on the transit piece, cabs are hard enough to get in the city, MARTA needs to be more accessible late at night and needs to go to more places, but I'm not holding my breath on that.
The only thing I would like to see in regards to the food trucks is licensing, I just want to make sure that they have a valid business license and have been inspected by the health dept and I'm good to go!
Thanks for starting the Wiki designopolis! Everyone make sure to post clues here: http://10dollarartmystery.wikispaces.com/ Updated w/ the new ones...so exciting, but so many clues missing.
They pave and repave streets w/in the city limits without replacing crosswalks, installing bike lanes, or making any pedestrian improvements whatsoever. Atlanta's bass-ackwardness about transportation in general is part of the biggest issues the city faces. I know there are plenty of pedestrians that need to follow common-sense laws, but many Atlanta drivers need a tad bit of reeducation on driver laws, such as stopping before turning right on red. I'm certainly not surprised of Atlanta's ranking in this, just sad.
Got some great spots in Castleberry Hill that could use an awesome restaurant...just sayin!
