@vox it is rare to see prorated rent deals like "1 month free" anymore. Generally the prices are set for the day or week and leasing agents have little wiggle room. You get your options of 6 - 15 month leases, little negotiation offered.
ATL remains affordable compared to other cities, but rental rates have still risen heavily over the last couple of years. Purchase & rental rates will continue to rise as well. For renters, that means paying more money for less space & less amenities, and likely less customer service. For young people saddled with student loan debt & low entry level wages, it sucks. Lack of efficient mass transportation does not help matters. You can be broke in town with no car and a diff kind of broke OTP with no car.
@Fact - just because a politician says something was done, doesn't mean it was....
clearly not much brining could have been done between 7-9am rush hour and the 12:30p mad dash.
So, what news organization is going to get answers from all the metro regions? Everyone needs to answer for this mess, especially our state figureheads.
Or in typical ATL fashion will all be forgiven & forgotten by the Super Bowl?
Like Cassie asked, do other cities make folks come to court for a traffic ticket?
I want brighter street lights. the streets should be damn near glowing. that would help foster a bigger sense of security there at night.
would be nice if the pictures had a click to enlarge feature so one could actually see what was on the maps.
I don't understand why this list is published mere hours before the holiday... would have been way more useful say Monday.
