The street you identify as Francis Place is actually Florence Place, which is west of Francis Place.
It's too bad traffic stopped.
Big Tex had - in my experience - poor food. Bland and sometimes just flat out terrible. Take their salsa for instance - it tasted like unseasoned tomato sauce. Even their signature poutine was just a sloppy mess. It was a serious disappointment considering it was opened by the Fox Bros folks. They need to stick to what they know.
Here's hoping for something better in that space.
Congrats to Alpharetta on their new development. While it's not relevant to me as an ITP person, it's clearly a nice amenity for those who live up there. While Atlanta is the center of this region, it's wrong to assume that everybody who lives up in the 'burbs views their access to the city as the be-all/end-all of their existence. Many people are perfectly happy to carry on their lives with only sporadic vists to Atlanta, perhaps for a sporting event or other cultural happening, and for people like that a developement like Avalon is a boon.
I love the concept of Uber and other business that disrupt the existing market, because they make the entire market better. But they have to play by the same rules. If a company started selling a $5,000 car that looked great but failed to meet government regulations, would you buy it? Then why are you willing to get in a random car with a stranger without proper licensure driving?
Calling people "self-righteous assbags" doesn't help the problem, Zachary. While this criminal who ran down Germani should be in jail, plenty of drivers are just ignorant. But name calling isn't going to educate them. Chough, it's illegal for cyclists to ride on sidewalks. That said, they shouldn't be going down the middle of a street either. There are bad drivers and bad cyclists. This particular case is neither- it's a malicious, criminal driver who should spend a very long time in jail.
ERMAGERD PEPSI!!! uh, who cares? Aside from that, this review mirrors my thoughts on the buns. The texture was good but the fillings were hit or miss. Still enjoy this place and would go back.
