Re: “Mayor, police chief must cooperate in Eagle probe

Stereotypes are a convenient thought process used by lazy people to navigate through a complex and diverse society to prevent form thinking too deeply. The use of a stereotype to justify anything is unacceptable and simple minded…..get with the times it’s not the 1960’s. No criminal filings for indecent exposure were brought about because of this raid and, unless I’m mistaken, that’s a prerequisite for the performance of public sexual acts. I do get your point, that WE ALL should strive not to be classified into a stereotype ourselves.

Re: “Mayor, police chief must cooperate in Eagle probe

Sounds like ya’ll are grabbing on to stereotypes to justify the status quo of a governing body misusing its power to “victimize” pockets of a population it’s there to protect regardless of personal bias of sexual, racial or spiritual orientation. The fact is none of the patrons were breaking the law since there are no charges filed agents any of them. Not to mention they all passed criminal background checks that night that were illegally processed by the police department during the raid. Think what you will, but everyone DESERVES protection from a government agency misusing it’s authority to propagate misinformation and straighten outdated stereotypes. Everyone’s tax dollars go to pay for these “protecting” government agencies regardless of who or what you are. If today it’s not your rights or liberties being violated maybe tomorrow if will be. Ye judge and Ye be judged!
