Why does this page link to Piedmont Park? Shouldn't it link to http://www.beltline.org ??
Yes, you are all right that it *technically* is in the Northeast quadrant of Atlanta, but that implies there's no "central" Atlanta. That area is more central Atlanta than anything, whereas I think of North Buckhead as "Northeast." So, while they were not wrong by saying NE, if we are separating the city into quadrants, it's really more central Atlanta than anything. If I wasn't familiar with the city I would think they were referring to an area in North Buckhead, when it's actually in the O4W, near the center of the city. Semantics, I guess.
I'm more offended that WSB-TV thinks Edgewood/Boulevard is *Northeast* Atlanta.
Umm...I saw at least two movies at Screen on the Green in Piedmont last year. Even a story on CLATL itself shows that Screen on the Green ended up proceeding last year. Check the addendum at the end of this article: http://clatl.com/screengrab/archives/2011/…
So far, I haven't seen any word on whether Screen on the Green will happen this year. I also saw a couple of movies at Atlantic Station last year, but the space is VERY small. It's quite uncomfortable compared to Piedmont.
She's a parking enforcement officer because she likes helping people? What a load of shit.
I agree that Robyn's show was probably the best performance of the year. As for Natalia Kills, I thought she was a little tired and gimmicky. Maluca, however, was a great surprise. I thought the quality of her performance *nearly* matched Robyn's. And to answer your question, no. The DJ with her is named Luther, and looks nothing like Diplo (see his wikipedia entry for a picture).
