Do a little bit of research... AB, gets paid VERY WELL!!! More than most at least...
Really BOOC? Why are your opinions better than the majority? Are you special? You really never answered any questions I had... that's a shame. Do you know, I have spoken with at least 6 private individuals that have "lived" in PPS, but refer to it as a "flop house". Have YOU lived there? As a matter of fact... what part of town do you live in? I CRY BS ALL DAY LONG ON YOUR BS!!! BTW, my apologies, I just get very emphatic...
1. They DO get paid; read the article.
2. Who would they interview that was REPUTABLE?
3. HOW long has this been an issue in court? Did you read previous articles? I'm not talking CL exclusively, but other publications...
4. Can you provide references to this? Please feel free to link to any article you can think of.
As a downtown dweller for 6 years, living a block away... you have NO IDEA what you are talking about.
my hubby and I did donuts in the middle of peachtree street yesterday in his jeep. we got some strange looks.
Ned, I cannot agree with you more. I am on Ponce at least once a day. I often feel as if there is some sort of competition going on around me, drivers barreling around my car, following so close if they cannot get around that I can't even see their headlights... I go the speedlimit, if that. The roads are already dangerous, filled with potholes and so narrow, I have to be defensive about getting unintentionally sideswiped. Then you have a real life game of Frogger with people running (or just standing) in the street. This article is very sad. I remember hearing this story, but I had no idea that the punishment would be so light. Regardless of what the judicial system did NOT do, I am sure this man and his family will never forget this. I cannot imagine how I would cope if I ever ran over and killed a person, let alone a small child. He should not be allowed to drive. My deepest sympathies and prayers to the victims family.
