Re: “Tyler Perry's For Colored Girls is poetry without motion

It is sad to always hear someone saying TP is male bashing...but oh, well, this movie made me really take a look at myself and the issues I bring to the relationships in my life...It made me really want to work on changing this for the daughters that I am raising...we as black women MUST start taking responsiblity for what we allow to happen in our lives, and that does not mean bear the brunt and put up with nonsense that simply means that if we want what we say we really want out of life and our relationships with black men, then we have to be willing to let go sometimes and depend on each other...because as we have seen we are not going to survive without...this movie was wonderful to me and made my daughters and I want to read the book of poems...thumbs up...4 out 5 stars a must see for all women, not just women of color...congratulations Mr. Perry...
