Re: “Morning Newsdome: President Obama calls for original 1967 Israeli-Palestinian borders

The Israel supporters obviously don't know what it's like to be raped and have your life stolen from you - not just once, but continuously, you, your family and your kinsmen, as the world looks on. The Palestinians are just expected to take the abuse and not say anything, lest they *gasp* offend the poor Jews with antisemitism. It's all a con. I'm just glad an American president finally ignored the usual blackmail ("don't forget who put you in office"- typical corrupt threats) and acknowledged the Palestinians' human right to their own land.

Re: “Rep. Bobby Franklin might hate women more than he hates gays

This man would be laughable, except that he is dangerous because he is in POWER. Very scary.

Re: “Ga. congressman: Evolution? That's just as ridiculous as climate change.

Any arguments against natural selection out there?

Re: “Ga. congressman: Evolution? That's just as ridiculous as climate change.

K.T., have you ever held the skull of an australopithecus? Do you think archeologists pull osteological data out of their behinds just to spite creationists? Or maybe it was God who planted fossils in the earth to challenge our faith!

Certainly you throw around enough scientific mumbo-jumbo to confuse everyone, taking the focus away from the fact that your arguments are utterly pointless. You call yourself a scientist, and yet you have no backing for your theory (wait, are you even arguing a theory?) and default on "faith"? That is not science. That is misguided theology.

You have totally misunderstood the point of evolutionary theory - the idea is not to prove the non-existence of God. God is a non-factor in true science, since there has never been a shred of scientific evidence to suggest he exists. The idea is to better understand our world and to not blindly follow the mythology of religion. Y'know, like how scientists laid down their superstitions and defied the Catholic church in the Middle Ages by dissecting corpses and subsequently discovering that God's will was not the only explanation for illness. Good thing there are humans who think outside the box and don't just believe what they are told, otherwise we would still be living in darkness and disease. Or perhaps we are falling back to the Middle Ages?
