I have eaten there once around the holidays and it was great. I had been wanting to try it for a while but it just never happened until then. We had the pork buns. I am not in Atlanta as often so I have not returned but do plan on doing so.
I have major respect for Guy Wong as I have read his comments a few times from his reviews and he totally fesses up and takes responsibility for his restaurant. Once he outed his restaurant for a problem Besha wrote about when she only mentioned the problem but not the place.
I wish him continued success and can't wait to eat there again.
It seems as though you can make a healthy choice at most restaurants (they typically have salads) and usually it is about portion control as in eat half and take the rest home.
I don't think it is the restaurants job to choose for you, besides you can take in so many calories just from your beverages alone - alcoholic, soft drinks, sweet tea, etc. and how can they control that aspect of dining.
I ultimately want the restaurant to make good tasty food the best way they know how and I can decide how many calories I want to take in when I make my choice.
