You are not special.
Went to Henry's the Friday before Pride for dinner with 3 friends. None of us will be going back there. One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had, anywhere. Service was beyond-belief abysmal and the food was simply mediocre.
I've yet to have a bad experience at Bantam & Biddy. Love the food, and really good cocktails, too.
I've been a Woody's fan for many, many years and really loved when it reopened. Recently, I've enjoyed walking over to Piedmont Park and having lunch at Woody's regularly. Even during busy hours, they've been fast, efficient, and the cheesesteaks full of flavor and certainly not "mush". I've taken several friends there recently for their first Woody's. All have been impressed and have gone back for more.
Does anyone with more than two braincells give a rat's a** what TMZ does or says?
I love peanut butter, always have. I go through a big jar at least once a month. I can tell you, from first-hand knowledge, that the Chinese version of Skippy is also less sweet than the US version. And while many people will claim they are identical, I find the imported (from Europe) version of Nutella is less sweet than the US version.
I will definitely give that one a pass. Not appealing to me at all. I would have guessed "F", btw. ;-)
Interesting to read the complaints about the fillings. I've seen descriptions of "gummy", "dog food", and "cat food". Obviously, not many people have ever eaten bao in China. If you want more authentic bao, then this is it. If you want an Americanized version, go someplace else. I think YB strikes a good balance between authenticity and creativeness (with the flavors).
