Re: “Edgewood Avenue bridge is reopening, reopening, reopening

No picture of the updated bridge? That is a little disappointing.

Re: “City Hall to revisit Underground Atlanta lease, consider sale?

I really agree with the Georgia State use case. Does anyone on this board know anyone at GSU that might listen to this idea?

Re: “So you want to eat gluten-free in Atlanta?

Yeah, I agree with weaselll1. I also have Crohn's disease and resources like this article are a godsend to try to help me navigate the restaurant scene in ATL. I think comments like David Milton and Chef Truth are really insensitive and downright mean. You obviously have no idea what it is like having to restructure your entire social experience around a digestive disease. It is completely ignorant to say gluten-free alternatives are merely a "stupid trend." I hope you learn to open your eyes a bit and see things from others' perspective.

Re: “The two sides of the charter school amendment debate

Thanks for this interview. It was informative provides interesting insight from both point of view. I tend to think that local control would be more sensitive to the needs of particular school districts. Another benefit of local control is that mistakes are more easily diagnosed and fixed. They can be fixed through electing different local official, which is not so easy with a state appointed board. A downside with local control is that it would be harder to create standards with which to ensure that children are receiving a high quality education.

Re: “Beltline Eastside Trail: We've got concrete

This may seem like a stupid question, but does anyone know where in relation to this path, the light rail is supposed to eventually go?

Re: “Deadline to sign up for city's free job fair ends today

Looks like the registration is filled up. Anyone know if it is possible to get in without a ticket?
