I think its funny to see arguments saying that Uber and Lyft are unethical. As a consumer I grade a service based on cost and quality. The cost for these services is less and the quality is better. I have taken more than 50 rides of each and the difference is staggering. The ride experience with taxi cabs is worse and the technology performance is worse. Are there bad apples every here and there for ride share organizations? Yes, but those same bad apples exist in the cab companies. One of my friends was taken advantage of by a cab driver here in Atlanta, but there is no proof since they took her purse and phone, it was late at night, and she was intoxicated. Just keep in mind that every poor example of a Uber\Lyft driver has the same representation in the cab companies.
Anyone who say surge pricing is fraud is not regularly using these services. Surge pricing is fairly predictable and I generally can avoid it or catch it before it gets out of control. I would rather deal with surge pricing i can understand than ghost cabs that never show. Or cabbies trying to hustle me with odd\random extra charges.
There are decent go getting dudes here in Atlanta. Guys who are not boring and are successful. I think often the qualities that we display are NOT what the ladies are looking for. When I go out with many ladies here I feel like they EXPECT me to be a player. They act like they only want me to hit it a few times and then fade into the past. If you want your man to treat you like the magnificent woman you are you have to EXPECT him to treat you that way. If I walk you to your car after a date, don't be surprised. Thats the way my Momma raised me. If I don't bend you over my dinning room table the first time you show up to my apartment, don't be so disappointed. I can't treat you like a hoe so don't expect me to.
I'm an ambitious bachelor, but I have a buddy who is further along in his career than I am and he has it worse than I do. He loves to take a lady out and treat her well, but all they do is use him. This dude is already a success, but he gets abused by the ladies he comes across. He is not ugly either.
If you are wondering where these guys are, ask your friends. They have most likely already written them off.
I ate there and the chicken is not very good. They also took a long time to get people their food. There is no reason they should still be open in 6 months.
