Point made. I can't deny that.
Good Lord, Jeff! You weren't even there last year.
With all due respect, your timing of events is all wrong. You got there after 1:00 PM for a 12:00 pillow fight. The police arrived around 12:30 because of illegally parked cars. Two officers stood around while allowing the fight to continue, while 3 other cars were on the streets dealing with parking issues. Once everyone tired out and the swinging subsided (over half an hour later), they finally said everyone needed to leave the park, but never enforced it. Many people stuck around anyways and the police never did a thing.
The reason 4 cars were there was to address illegal parking. They even gave everyone two warnings to move their cars before being impounded.
No one got in trouble and the pillow fight was a lot of fun. Next time you go to a pillow fight, it's important to show up at the the beginning. Once people tire out, it's pretty much over. The APD waited for that to happen before suggesting we disperse.
Next time, there will be no official end time for the fight. That was a mistake. Get there when it starts or miss out on the action. You know that!
Pillows swing at 12:00 Noon!
