Oh ... and I lived in Atlanta during the Wayne Williams trial years and I do NOT believe he did it. The very horror of those years. The memory of police finding bodies in kudzu. The heartbreak of the entire city when it dealt with the grief. It just wasn't possible for one human being to wreak all that havoc.

I moved to San Francisco from Atlanta in 1988. It tears my heart apart to read this article. Seriously. And I can only imagine what has changed from the time this was printed to the time I'm responding.

Is the Center for Puppetry Arts still around? Are any of the Pleasant Peasant restaurants still around? No mention of Walter Mitty's which was THE jazz place to go in the early 80s.
