"...sound business decision that will have a [sic] incredible return on investment..."
Bwahahahaha that's rich!
@zedsmith using hotel/motel funds for infrastructure improvements would take legislative action, true. But I think WTBC's sentiment that the public should be very hesitant to approve any additional taxation considering what a poor job of resource allocation CoA's doing with public money is apt.
Not that MLK wouldn't deserve the spot, but maybe we should put a statue of Thomas Jefferson (the champion of the separation of church and state) there instead of the ten commandments? All Repubs love protecting the ideals of our founding fathers, right?
You reap what you sow, Deal. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.
If this thing gets all tied up in the courts (and the curtain pulled back: I'd like to see if a single impact assessment was done for this project), it would be a great time for the city to get their shit together and put together a progressive and viable option for the Ted that includes the Braves lest the ballclub change their minds.
Lucy is the commenter in the piece on cul-de-sacs. Dunno that she deserves all of the blame for Atlanta's sprawl though.
It sounds like Deal is really uncomfortable about this since he's obviously trying to absolve himself of any responsibility for same-sex marriage benefits. Good, I like seeing that guy squirm.
