Looks like the anti-gun nuts are out again. Let's try this again: Criminals don't care about laws. They will always have guns. Gun control laws only harm lawful citizens who seek to exercise their natural right of self protection. When you are robbed, the government is not there to "protect" you. Government only acts after the crime is committed. Naive liberals!
I used to look forward to this article, but it has become another liberal hit piece. There are no Democratic bozos to highlight?
This is Exhibit A in the case of how liberal snobs harm the poor. Wal-Mart provides not only jobs, but lower prices for food, clothing and other necessities. The poor wisely patronize Wal-Mart to stretch their limited dollar. Wal-Mart also forces other retailers to compete on price. Jobs and low prices coming to a depressed strip mall near you. We can't have that.
These Occupy losers have no credibility. They just want a government which will use its force to pay for their wants at the expense of society's producers. The present economic downturn stems from the federal government's failed attempt at the social experiment of giving everyone a house. It is indeed sad to see people lose homes, but the experience will make them wiser consumers in the future.
Ugh. Where do I start? The lack of knowledge of economics demonstrated by Ms. Gray is not unusual. Those evil for-profit stations exist because they offer something that people want. The saintly non-profit stations have to beg for money because no one gives a rats posterior about the boring, liberal and arrogant programming they offer. The vile Vader-like corporations which dare to own stations create jobs for thousands through ad sales, giving bands airplay, etc.
The consumer has the power to choose. More government control and regulation just makes things worse. You don't think we have enough regulations? Go visit your local law library and mix in some light reading of the CFR and the Federal Register.
We owe our high standard of living to free people and free markets. You don't have to buy a $%^& thing on black Friday or any other day. This is the freedom to choose that Milton Friedman eloquently explained. Any group (ie Occupy) which opposes free markets also opposes freedom. As Calvin Coolidge explained, individual rights and property rights are the same thing.
And we wonder why governments are always in debt. This position and office is mind-numbingly moronic and a waste of money. Only hippie liberals would support this nonsense. Hayak, Friedman, Goldwater are spinning in their graves.
