Re: “Stop parking in bike lanes, Atlanta

Thanks for writing this! I get especially irritated when people use the eastbound Edgewood bike lane as a turning lane onto Boulevard. Oh, and that damn contraflow bike lane that runs north on Park Place across from Woodruff Park.

Re: “A brief history of Atlanta farmers markets

@socialaight What? If you want non-local produce, go to a regular grocery store.

Re: “Beltline officials: construction of Eastside Trail extension through Reynoldstown could start in July

@etaff

That makes sense. As long as they plan to repave the road in the tunnel. Riding over all those potholes is so unpleasant!

Re: “Beltline officials: construction of Eastside Trail extension through Reynoldstown could start in July

Uhhh shouldn't both walkways of Krog tunnel should be developed for the sake of bicycle-pedestrian safety....?? The eastside passage is WAYYY too narrow for a bicycle and pedestrian to safely pass each other without a bicyclist completely stopping... and if you add another bicycle coming from the other direction... yeah, not good.

Or maybe demolish the west walkway, shift the road over west, and widen the east walkway. Though I imagine that would cost A LOT. Haha.

Re: “Reed: No way Braves would have stayed without costing taxpayers 'hundreds of millions of dollars'

"The Braves will also be changing their name to the 'Cobb County Crackers,' home runs will now be called 'white flights,' and Civil Rights Day will be awkwardly held in the Tea Party-friendly suburb."
