I read the article, and I can process information well enough to understand that this was not a targeted attack but just basically one artist's critique on the presentation/message being delivered by another (artist). There are no other women in Hip Hop at the height that NM has reached at this time,so who else should she have targeted???
At the end of the Day its about the music and the message. I would not have any seed(whether I bore them or not) listening to what NM is spewing over the airwaves.I have yet to hear a song that RESPECTFULLY,celebrates femininity or the culture of Hip Hop.All I have heard is a hyperbole of Rhetoric(period). I consider myself to be a Hip Hop connoisseur,so I have been keeping an ear out for NM since before she got a deal.Which, I felt was a better display of her skills ,so this is in no way the opinion of a 1 sided coin.
Her music is now empty and has no soul...it will be well received by all these empty vessels running around trying to make themselves and there seeds look like a carbon copy of her...Amin since your such a fan do yourself a favor and find out who ROMAN POLANSKI is, and how he likes to show his "fondness" to children!!! Then ask yourself how cool it is for a 30 something year old black woman to have this persons likeness as an "Alter Ego"....but I digress, the fact that this is up for discussion lets me know some people love the Kool-Aid... I thought it was a well-written piece based on fact, not opinion. I think Sa Roc is a DOPE MC.
