Re: “Reed, MARTA CEO Parker have a friend in next transportation secretary (Update)

Outside looking in---
You guys do realize that just because President Obama, Foxx, Parker and Reed are black-- doesn't make them one and the same.

It sounds as if people are angry that they seem to be playing by the rules.
If being a male, black politician in America should insure some sort of "hook up" from all other male, black politicians in America ---
That logic would be quite an indictment on the political associations & effectiveness of the white majority (Democratic or Republican) heretofore.

Just because America has decided to use ALL of the weaponry in her arsenal to go forward--pulling the best & the brightest to the forefront---there is no need to panic because everybody doesn't look like "our kind of people"---Just look for the "content"! You know from that speech!

Re: “Blank, Reed, Barnes to host Obama at Buckhead fundraiser

So---------the fact that Atlanta proactively choose to go forward with the Stadium project
And is now positioned for greater national sport opportunities allowing for community growth, construction & $$$!
Makes Mayor Reed the bad guy----how?

Re: “Tale of two mayors

What is the real question? Why this comparison? What is the motivation? Both Mayors were elected by their cities to lead them into the the next season of growth. Mayor Booker is the mayor of Newark, not Atlanta. Mayor Reed has done a stellar job in preparing Atlanta for the fruitful bounty that is our future. As a Tale of Two Cities...Atlanta is a real page turner!
