lazermike, there are 2 competitive citywide council races involving kasim reed yes-men that could be impacted. -- but I agree with intowner 2, it's probably just incompetence, not corruption.
I too am disappointed and confused as to why Jason Carter, a seemingly upstanding, honorable, hardworking state Senator with a rich family heritage and unsullied reputation would put himself out to endorse any of these lowly City of Atlanta candidates, (Kasim included).

John Lewis is my rep, and he responds by voting in Congress as I would like him to --- in contrast to my worthless Senate representation that responds with form letters containing inadequate and illogical excuses as to why they will NOT be voting the way I would like them to.
I hope you do not actually live in the city of Atlanta and cannot vote for anyone on City Council.
