Re: “City vows to buff out graffiti, maybe as soon as January. What would you save?

I hate to see good pieces get covered, but on the plus side, there's a lot of really bad and outdated stuff floating around out there, so in a way, I look forward to seeing it covered up because I know something fresh and new will pop up not long after. Whenever I go on bike rides I always bring my camera with me to capture any great pieces I find, so I look forward to the chance to find even more modern works in the future.

Anyone have the numbers of exactly how much money was inappropriately spent on the dry cleaning, tickets, etc?

Re: “The high price of hope

@Voxpopuli

I certainly hope that's the case!

Re: “The high price of hope

@Voxpopuli

"for the bargain price of $14,000 — meaning he could theoretically own a home for less than he's currently paying for his Midtown apartment each month."

followed by

"Were Poventud an investor — someone with the capital to buy and fix up the house quickly and without the help of a bank — none of these things would be an issue."

That doesn't seem completely absurd to you?!

Re: “The high price of hope

maybe he should move into a different apartment instead of paying 14k/mo and he wouldn't have to rely on the bank for money. idiot. #firstworldproblems
