Re: “Preservationists cry foul over potential demolition of 20 Hilliard St.

I hope they don't tear down 20 Hilliard St. because that’s someone renovated home. This property is near the corner of Hilliard and Tanner (see Google maps). The building is rock solid. My guess is this is some sort of backroom land assemblage play at city-hall for some developer to do something bigger on that corner and this historical building is gumming up the works. It should be protected.

Re: “So about that 360-degree tour of Pullman Yard...

2 storys and no mention of where this is. From the 2 reader comments above the clues are Dekalb Ave and Rogers Street.

Re: “Atlanta's streetcar (allegedly) captured on video, making noises and looking alive

edit: When I say "electrify" your bike I mean using a simple and inexpensive hub motor. Here's the best ad free "how to" forum (Some of the best electrical engineers in the world share their ideas):

What a joke and waste of $ millions. Those should be bike lanes. Pedal your fat asses 1.3 miles and electrify your bike for the Atlanta topo.

Re: “Heart transplant

Sorry to highjack your post but inatl is full of it. Intown Atlanta is cool because of the lack of yankee trash.

“Point while there are good things about the south their are things we need to import from the North.” - inatl

First off, it’s “there” not “their” and if it is so great up north why are you here? Oh yeah, the north has been completely f==ked up and bankrupted by half-wit intellectuals into a rust belt from hell.

“yankee trash” borrowed from C. Borden Gray

Re: “Original Centennial Olympic Park developer tapped for redesign

Yeah and they thought it would be a good idea to spend $85 million to revitalize Underground Atlanta in the late ’80 to bring more people downtown. Who hangs out there now? This is going to be a play ground for the same bad element.

Re: “Rearview mirror

You haven’t left yet J.R.? Your writing for the paper lacked style and this piece shows us you have no class.
