Good concept, flat and contrived execution. The objects and surrounding vignettes didn't work together, nor was there any excitement in the contrast. Nothing stood out, not a single thing. Fail.
Why do people get upset over cartoons of nudes? That is far more scary than cartoony nudes. Next thing you know they will be rioting over cartoons and killing people and raping women in the streets. Can't they put something in the water to calm people down?
Artists act like they care about human freedom, but not a single one says ANYTHING about how Muslim women are treated for example. Using slave iconography is so tired anyway. The white man is the one whose votes were suppressed this time around. Obama asked voters to vote for REVENGE. Can you even imagine a sitting president saying that if it weren't true?
Aside from the ants in baggage claim most of the art at Hartsfield is dated and boring. Change all of it.
Wandah obviously hasn't lived in Atlanta very long. It's been an up and coming arts city for decades. The city spends millions on tacky advertising campaigns but never on good murals for ALL neighborhoods, not just on the south side of town. The rich folk uptown need to be educated about the arts too, so they will stop buying overpriced abstract decorator dreck. Then MAYBE Atlanta artists will actually sell their art here.
Why not Israel? That's the only country in the middle east where gay people are allowed to live openly. Also only place where women are allowed equal freedoms as men. Sad that my favorite band would support cultures of hate.
How sad. USA students falling so behind rest of world it will take huge courage and intelligence for the bureaucrats running government education to change. They won't. Too selfish, too self righteous. The repubs not best solution but ONLY chance for REAL change, not the bs kind puppeted by the brain dead government educated masses. Will you wake up before it is too late? If not, those who can will abandon this ship and you all will be sunk in your big self righteous mess.
Today blacks are enslaved by their obsession with old insults instead of real life. Artists who keep serving this same old bread are dullards and their offerings stale.
