Hey, Neal McCarthy…Nice restaurant…decent food…but, What’s Up with the attitude? We were at Miller Union on Friday night for a birthday celebration…Party of 6…spent $500…and, we brought cupcakes to celebrate…on a $500 bill, we were charged an extra $15 for a “Cake Cutting Charge”…kind of chintzy and cheapens your restaurant...Hey, Neal, What’s up with that?...Julie Steele, your Assistant Manager wouldn’t waive the charge…claimed that you wouldn’t allow it…said you had to pay a dessert chef to be there, so we had to pay for bringing in cupcakes…under that logic, we should have to pay for a glass of water since you have a bartender there…Hey, Neal, What’s up with that? Hope the $15 helps your bottom line Neal, because, in this economy, we can find many other restaurants to spend our hard earned dollars….restaurants that appreciate customers…Hey, Neal, What’s up with that?
