I've been a Braves fan since I moved to South Carolina at age 8 and have been fortunate to live in Atlanta the past 14 years and see Chipper in his hey-day. It won't ever be the same at Turner Field without number 10 on the field, but I applaud Chipper for sticking to his guns and retiring so that he can spend more time with his sons. There's no role he's ever had that is more important than being a father to his boys. If Chipper works as hard at that as he did at baseball, he'll produce four great men who will go on to be great husbands, employees, and leaders in their communities. I look forward to reading great things about them in the future.
