Apparently Pete likes 'local control' unless he disagrees with what the locals do. This dude can build a walmart in probably 50 different places within a 10 mile radius but he needs this property rezoned to put it here. Since when are we obligated to rezone something just so a developer can make money. It was zoned high density residential for a reason.
Try to put a walmart at the entrance to a suburban cul-de-sac and see how that goes. Are there any right wingers out there interested in an honest discussion of issues without a bunch of hyperbole and conspiracy theories?
