I would encourage anyone to read my daughter's story.… I want to first say that I wrote the article in this link that tells how A Choice Can Change A Life. This is to reinstate an appeals process for parents who seek alternatives for their children when their zoned public school isn't working for them (it doesn't have to be a failing school to not work for your child). Some counties in Georgia work great with parents and public charter schools while others create a lot of roadblocks and are even hostile. This Amendment is needed for those children in Georgia to create a safety net.
