Re: “The Great Charter School Debate”
I hope it passes. A 47% graduation rate is just dismal and unacceptable. I graduated from high school through the APS system in 1988. The graduation rate has been this way since even then, so something was and still is missing in our public schools. That was over 20 years ago - how long are we supposed to wait for APS and other districts to 'fix' things? My daughter just started elementary school. I will not put the weight of Georgia's educational issues on her shoulders.
