Re: “Roti's Living Walls mural in southwest Atlanta painted over by community members without a permit

I'd like to thank everyone who has shown their passion and shared their opinions of the Mural on University Ave. I am sadden however, by the comments regarding some of the local leaders past. ( Now we know how re-entry/ex-offenders feel after their time is served.
I cannot and will not speak, for those who felt the need to cover the mural, but obviously there was a burden place, on some of the residents that simply vented, it's self in the covering of the mural. Now, the healing process must began, the first step is to toss, the petition to keep the mural in its current location, unfortunately their is a digital divide in the Pittsburgh community because I see signatures from as far as Lawrencville and very few from the impacted Community. No one wants prostitutes, or crime to define their neighborhoods and it's totally unfair to think that all residents are criminals, in the Pittsburgh Community. Let's embrace each other and not a Mural, and move forward beginning NOW--
