Shame on our cold black hearts? I spent part of last week wrapping gifts at the Atlanta Children's Shelter, and also signed up to give a portion of every paycheck I earn in 2013 to Nicholas House. What exactly are you doing to help the homeless, other than just use them as props for your political agenda?
If there's shame to be had, here---it should sit squarely on the people who talk a lot about the problem, but in reality, do nothing to actually help. In other words, OOHA.
I have a recommendation for Shabnam Bashiri, and others with OOHA. How about instead of collecting bail money for your publicity stunt, you collect rent money for homeless Atlanta families. I promise it will be much more meaningful when temperatures really start to drop over the next few weeks.
