Everyone who thinks this is offensive is an idiot. they're calling those who are anti-affirmative action racists and comparing them to the KKK and other xenophobic/racist fearmongers in the south. The comparison is quite proper given that one of the last channels through which people can express their racism is through opposing affirmative action. Its satire, which means that through his absurdly racist remark he's making fun of those republicans who oppose aff action. To think this is offensive is idiotic and unintelligent. This isn't even politically incorrect, since they're supporting affirmative action.
