Most major cites have thousands of homeless teens and women, and once they enter sex work to survive, we arrest them and call it rescuing. How can the cops help with services when there is NO SERVICES, and why is it that once a person claims they are a VICTIM or are willing to exit the industry that we magically find shelters for them. Long term services, housing, heath care and JOBS that pay wages we can live on, is the only way to even reduce prostitution. While I understand street prostitutes are at a higher risk of violence, lets ask ourselves why we spend 250 million a year stalking middle aged adult escorts online. Ironically prostitute free zones have already been ruled as unconstitutional, in DC in many other places, yet they are willing to violate the civil rights of American citizens.
